Texas Challenge teams up with WNBA HOUSTON COMETS -Toyota Center - to play halftime exhibition game and pre game show.

August 7, 2007 - Another great show and recruiting effort by the
Texas Challenge - Basketball and Fitness for Senior Women in Houston, Texas! The team was honored in a pre game show by the Houston Comets for their recent participation and accomplishments in the 2007 Senior Olympics held in Louisville, KY.

And at halftime, the team performed their "Granny Globetrotter" ball handling routine, then broke in to playing 3 on 3 on each end of the court. The Challenge definitely gave the crowd what they came for - lots of action and points scored!!

We spoke with several women in the crowd who showed interest in joining our senior basketball program. We welcome anyone 50 or better to contact us to join in this fun and fitness program.

Coach Gary Blair of Texas A & M came courtside after the game and commended our team for its accomplishments and has invited us to A & M to perform a pre game and halftime show as we did in Houston and San Antonio at WNBA games. We gladly accepted!! More details to follow!
